感想 Impression
When calling on the Jiko-in Zen temple which is in the Nara Prefecture Yamatokoizumi city, it is possible to be content in the garden which spreads to the study and the immediateness at which feeling of opening is overflowed. It arrives at the front gate of the tile-roofing which is in the right hand in the hilltop when going up the open field of the stone pavement with the gentle inclination which was surrounded by the hedge in both sides with on the roadside. In the pavement stone road which was straight laid in the thicket in the opencut to have passed through the gate and to have been bent, this time, it leads to the tower gate ( the Ibaraki gate ) of the thatch commandingness when bending three times and going. It turns around when going in and the scenery spreads out brightly and the pavement stoue road to run diagonally from the tower gate is three boiling separately led to the south garden and the broad porch, the vestibule at the study from station on the way.
An architecture at the Jiko-in is composed of nave, teahouse at the study and in the north side.In the sliding door of the partition, it is removed and the inside of the study can wrap in the feeling of opening with pleasure up.It is possible to enjoy the beautiful scenery which was cut off with the frame which the eaves of the eaves, and the broad porch, the thin independent pillar interweave when sitting on the back at the guided study and looking at the garden in the south to the height in the alcove. The frame effect rises more because it is doing a way of exquisiteness’s falling when the eaves of the eaves sees from the study and it is enacting a garden like the picture scroll. The pruning of the circular huge azalea lies at the garden on the flat loamy soil, in the side, the pruning makes an island to the pavement stoue road, the back which bends, being sharp and being right-angled, doesn’t come and results in the broad porch and the pine towers over the places among it.When seeing an east side, it is enacted for the mountains in Yamato to be able to be surveyed as the shakkei, being far in the fence crossing boiling of stiff pruning and that it is possible to enjoy a view with big scale. As for this garden, the design which was simply and decidedly composed to achieve the feature having to do with an architrave to make stand out seems to be showing the biggest effect in the grand view around.
